Anchit's life story is a thrilling journey from the echoes of fighter jets to the corridors of high finance, with a heart firmly tethered to the Indian Air Force. Raised in the exhilarating embrace of jet exhaust fumes, he dreamt of soaring through the skies as an IAF pilot like his father. However, destiny charted a different flight path, leading Anchit into the world of finance, where he pursued three master's degrees, including one at the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago, and currently holds the position of Investing Partner at a Private Equity firm focused on India.
However, a serendipitous moment in 2012 rekindled his passion for the IAF. Anchit's quest for IAF history led him to collaborate with renowned IAF historian Jagan Pillarisetti, and soon, he earned the moniker "Data Shikari" – an aviation enthusiast on a mission. From manual data collection to crafting captivating Twitter threads, contributing to editorials in national publications, and delivering Guest Lectures on Indian Air Force History, Anchit continues to be a dedicated student of history.
