United Service Institution of India (USI)

United Service Institution of India (USI), India’s oldest defence think tank is conducting “THE INDIAN MILITARY HERITAGE FESTIVAL”. The year 2022-2023 is being celebrated as the year of India’s presidency of the G-20. We are proud to be working in tandem with the Government of India’s strategic policies to affirm our position as a global powerhouse, a truly vibrant democracy, and a rising power that is working for the development of all countries in the global south. The Festival is being planned as a flagship annual programme to be held in Delhi, at Manekshaw Centre that will focus on our Heritage and Military traditions; Security and Self-Reliance and the vector of Atmanirbhar Bharat in the defence and military domains. The event will bring together Indian and global corporates, our public sector undertakings, non-profits, think-tanks and associations, as well as high net-worth individuals who are committed to national security and philanthropy, as well as being open to the general populace including students, academicians, research scholars, and people interested in the themes for this year’s event, for cross-pollination of ideas and discussions.

Military History and Heritage

The MILFEST is a major rendezvous for the entire military ecosystem. It will also provide a platform for discussing a host of contemporary issues relating to India and the world in a vertical dealing with Security, Strategy and International Relations

Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative

The USI Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative (ANBI) provides a platform to designers, developers, manufacturers and security forces to cross-fertilise ideas and develop a robust ecosystem for indigenisation and self-reliance in defence technology. Specially curated sessions are conducted for the services and strategic industry partners to debate and reflect on the existing and evolving technologies.
